Home on the Prairie with Bonnets

At an auction this past spring we acquired a complete set of Laura Ingalls Wilder's Home on the Prairie series. Sure enjoyed reading them when I was a girl and could not pass up this nice set. Figured it would be a nice offering in the Grandma's Attic booth. This has led to making a display of girl's hats. Most are vintage - refreshed and cleaned. To go specifically with the Laura Ingalls Wilder books, have also collected a variety of prairie dress and bonnet patterns. And of course have made some sweet cotton print bonnets in girl sizes. Next up - am considering aprons to match the hats.

My sister had the collection of books, but I just stuck to the tv series. What a fun show! I love the bonnets and hope! that you make the matching aprons.

Bonnets are so lovely. With an apron? Oh yes!
