Second Prairie Bonnet - different pattern

This bonnet is for a smaller head. Shape of brim and crown a bit different than the red bonnet. Have a couple of other patterns cut and ready to try out. It is interesting to see how small variations in shape of brim and crown create differences in look and how the bonnet feels on the head.

Have begun a child's apron to go with the red bonnet. Using a 1940's Vogart Pattern to start. The Vogart patterns are skint on directions. Yes, I can figure out how to put it together. However, have been looking through the vintage sewing books in the bookshelf to try and keep the sewing techniques accurate for the time of the pattern.

Still looking for a good example of a late 1800 to early 1900s apron pattern.
