Preparing for Shepherd's Harvest Festival

Am very nervous and excited. Would not take on vending alone, but thanks to a wonderful friend, Denise of Starsaponthars, Eyes of Time Blog; am actually taking things to sell at Shepherd's Harvest Sheep and Wool Festival come May 9 and 10 this year.

Refashioned Denim Hat and Fiber Lover's Tote

Am taking some of my totes and hats. These two are just a sample. A refashioned hat. Lovely soft denim, washed and refreshed and embellished by me with wool felt flowers, beads and cording. The Fiber Lover's tote - is roomy, light weight weight yet sturdy with reinforced bottom. The long button tab at the top allows one to over-stuff the tote with fiber and still strap it in place. This one is made from a combination of vintage fabric and new fabric.

Denise and I are sharing a booth, so we both have support, encouragement and are not going it alone. We are listed under my "official" business name: A Tranquil Nook, in the show vendor list. We are thrilled to be among this great list.

If you are already planning to be at the Festival on Mother's Day Weekend, do look us up. We'd love to say hello in person. If you have no plans for Mother's Day Weekend, consider coming on over to Washington County Fairgrounds were fiberly frolic will be happening.

Oh how exciting! It's a shame, but I don't think I can make it across the Atlantic that weekend ;-) Did you know that our Mothers Day in the UK is a different date? Ours is March 22nd. Maybe Etsian mums should celebrate twice?

I'm so excited we are doing this Jane and it will be an honor to be in a booth with your lovely creations. I love the hat and bag and can't wait to see ALL your new things as you make them. Think you could make a bag big enough to smuggle home a baby alpaca ? I really want to bring one home for the cats to play with .

No Denise, NO! Will be checking all the table linens too, to be sure you do not swaddle a baby Alpaca up in those. LOL

Good luck at the fair!

The hat is so cute with its little felt flowers.
